Liposuction: Who Is a Candidate?
How do I know if I'm a good candidate for liposuction?
Good candidates for liposuction are men and women who are physically healthy, psychologically stable with realistic expectations of what liposuction can do for their appearance. In addition, the ideal liposuction patient is of normal weight, with pockets of fat in certain areas that have not responded to traditional weight loss methods such as good nutrition and exercise. People of any age may undergo liposuction, however, older patients with diminished skin elasticity may not achieve the same results as younger patients with firmer, tighter skin.
